If between wrapping presents, leaving cookies and milk out for Santa, and creating you super-cool Christmas playlist, you somehow forgot to make a dessert for after Christmas lunch, we’ve got just the thing: a Strawberry Bavarian Cream Dessert.
85g sachet strawberry jelly crystals
2 tbs strawberry liqueur (optional)
375ml can evaporated milk
150ml thickened cream
2 tbs grated white chocolate
Half punnet strawberries, cut in half
1.Place jelly crystals in a large bowl and whisk with boiling water to dissolve. Allow to cool.
2.Add the liqueur and the evaporated milk, and use a hand-whisk to beat until frothy.
3.Pour the mixture in your fanciest serving glasses or dishes and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
4.When ready to serve, top each with whipped cream, white chocolate curls and strawberries.
