It’s never too late: Last minute Christmas dessert recipe

article3‘Tis the last minute before Christmas, and you’ve not done a thing, but don’t worry, because we’ve the perfect dessert that you can whip up in no time at all.

If between wrapping presents, leaving cookies and milk out for Santa, and creating you super-cool Christmas playlist, you somehow forgot to make a dessert for after Christmas lunch, we’ve got just the thing: a Strawberry Bavarian Cream Dessert.

85g sachet strawberry jelly crystals
2 tbs strawberry liqueur (optional)
375ml can evaporated milk
150ml thickened cream
2 tbs grated white chocolate
Half punnet strawberries, cut in half

1.Place jelly crystals in a large bowl and whisk with boiling water to dissolve. Allow to cool.
2.Add the liqueur and the evaporated milk, and use a hand-whisk to beat until frothy.
3.Pour the mixture in your fanciest serving glasses or dishes and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
4.When ready to serve, top each with whipped cream, white chocolate curls and strawberries.
